3rd Ear CD Launch Concert Thursday 1st Sept

Long time collaborators David Jones and Evri Evripidou have been working away in Dave’s Cave for months, developing their new project – 3rd Ear.  It’s an extraordinary project, dense with rich sounds and rhythms made by electronic instruments that sound acoustic, and acoustic instruments that start to sound electronic.  David and Evri are musical soulmates – sometimes they listen back after a session and they can’t work out who is playing what.  David and Evri have played music together for years, but never quite like this.  Long stretches of improvised adventure, that invite memories of the movie Baraka, the cosmos, the workings of the human mind, an audio expression of all facets of life – the music is intricate beyond comprehension, and emotive beyond expectation.

3rd Ear is launching their new CD SonicScapes “21st century Sonicscapes… Ancient minds.”  Bass and drums steeped in deep meditation. The CD can be purchased from David’s Peace Audio website.
