A meditation on the rhythm that connects us

Virtuosic drummer and percussionist, David Jones, leads a global group of musicians in an exploration of the universal rhythm that connects musical styles across cultures.

The concert will introduce one instrument at a time as Jones connects the musical threads with the drums, conducting and interweaving throughout. This series of duets culminates in a joyful combined finale.

Joining David are Amadou Suso (African kora), Evri Evripidou (guitar and electronics), Ria Soemardjo (vocals and percussion), Sunny Kim (vocals and electronics), Vinod Prasanna (Indian bansuri) and Yuval Ashkar (oud).
