A night of spontaneous jazz created in the moment

David Jones is not only Australia’s iconic percussionist but in demand internationally. David is no stranger to jazz having played and recorded with the Brian Brown (OAM) and Don Burrows (OAM). David and Bob have also recorded together on the albums “Intuition” and ”Bells make Me Sing”. Their musical relationship spans some 35 years.

The same applies to Scott Dunbabin, who toured and recorded with
Bob for a decade in “Blues on the Boil”, the only band from the jazz scene to truly define Texas and Chicago Blues. Scott’s unique sound comes from his specially created bass. Scott spent some years playing free jazz with the legendary Brian Brown (Dec). Bob, David and Scott are protégées of this incredibly gifted and passionate musician.
