The Peace Lounge series returns for 2016.
David Jones and the VCA-MCM are again collaborating to present concerts and student events.
David will perform in each concert, and he has curated a wonderful series of events, featuring some of Melbourne’s most exciting original-music makers. The first concert is a free lunchtime event, part of the MCM Monday Lunch Hour Series. For this concert, David performs with The Light Quartet.
The Light Quartet
“Four of Australia’s premier instrumental musicians with backgrounds in world, classical, ambient & jazz will be presenting a concert of original compositions drawing influences from Spanish, Irish, Greek and Middle Eastern cultures.”
The Light Quartet produce extraordinarily beautiful sounds and textures from harp, piano, guitars, viola, violin and percussion instruments.
